Hyderabad, November 22, 2007: IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited, Hyderabad based infrastructure major has bagged the 'Fastest Growing Construction Companies in India' award. Maytas Infra is ranked No.1 amongst other several participating companies. The award is based on a study carried out by the leading construction magazine Construction World and National Institute of Construction Management & Research (NICMAR). Last year (2006), Maytas Infra was ranked third.

The advisory panel included experts from NICMAR, Business India, Dalal Street Journal, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Hiranandani Developers Pvt. Ltd, K Raheja Universal Pvt. Ltd, Investment Advisors Ltd and The Indian Hotels Company. The award was presented to Mr. P.K.Madhav, CEO, Maytas Infra by Dr. T. Subbirami Reddy, Union Minister of State for Mines.
