Hyderabad April 17th 2009 : The Board of IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited met today under the chairmanship of Dr. K. Ramalingam and Mr. Anil K. Agarwal, Mr. O.P. Vaish and Mr. Ved Jain, all Govt. nominated directors along with Mr. Teja Raju, Vice-Chairman and whole-time director and Mr. B. Narasimha Rao the whole-time director.

The Board had extensive discussions on the business plan, orders in hand and under execution. The Board also had discussions with bankers as well as the Chairman of ILFS, Mr. Ravi Parthasarathy.

The Board after detailed discussions with each of the Business Heads and senior officials of the company has put a plan of action together so as to ensure timely execution of the orders.

The Board is working on the appointment of a CEO and has formed the project management committee under the chairmanship of Dr. K. Ramalingam, The Board is optimistic regarding the future of the company.
