IL&FS Engineering Services JV Emerges as the Lowest Bidder for Road Projects in Madhya Pradesh

~ Update on Bid submitted to Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited under Madhya Pradesh District Roads II Sector Project on Item Rate basis ~

Hyderabad: The Joint Venture comprising IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) and IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited in the ratio of 49:51 (Joint Venture) has emerged as the Lowest Bidder for the development of Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited (MPRDC) for the following two road projects funded by Asian Development Bank under Madhya Pradesh District Roads II Sector Project on Item Rate basis:

1. Package No. 10: Widening and reconstruction of Bariya Choki-Lugasi-Garhi Malhara Road (Road No. MP-MDR-35-06), Bamitha-Dumra Road (Road No. MP-MDR-35-07), Rajnagar-Bachhon Road (Road No. MP-MDR-35-10), Khaparia Banspahari Road (Road No. MP-MDR-35-13), Chhatarpur-Vikrampur-Rajnagar Road (Road No. MP-MDR-35-23) ('Project 1')

2. Package No. 11: Widening and reconstruction of Barghat-Kanhiwada Road (Road No. MP-MDR-37-07), Dharna-Asta-Dondiwada- Dharmakua Road (Road No. MP-MDR-37-11), Waraseoni-Katangi Road (Road No. MP-MDR-42-06) ('Project 2').

The Joint Venture had quoted an amount of Rs. 213.52 Crores for Project 1 and Rs.161.71 Crores for Project 2 respectively. The construction period for the Project 1 is 730 days and Project 2 is 548 days.
