Outcome of the Board Meeting held on August 7, 2009


Hyderabad, August 7, 2009: The Audit Committee and Board of Directors of IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited met today i.e. Friday, August 7, 2009 in Delhi and reviewed the following:

  1. The sector wise order book, orders executed for the quarter ended June 30, 2009, and plan for execution of orders in hand of Rs. 7300 crores was reviewed by the Board.

  2. The status of overall deployment of Plant & Machinery of the Company was reviewed and it was decided to hire/dispose of the idle machinery in the best interest of the Company.

  3. Status of all BOT projects under execution of over Rs. 6000 crores and budgets thereof was reviewed.

  4. The Board reviewed the status and plans for execution of Shimoga and Gulbarga airport projects.

  5. Reviewed the overall manpower position of the Company.

  6. Status of legal cases was discussed in detail.
