IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services)has been awarded a turnkey EPC contract by DLF Limited for a value of Rs. 408.50 crores for construction of High Speed HUDA Sector Road starting from NH-8 to Sector 55/56 at Gurgaon. The Project is to be completed in 24 months from the date of commencement of work with a maintenance period of 5 years. |
![]() The scope of work includes 67.3 Kms. of Road Works, Minor Bridges, 18 numbers of Major Bridges, 5 numbers of Main Tunnels including one Escape Tunnel, Flyover, Pedestrian/Cattle Underpass, Toll Plaza, Truck Lay Byes, Bus Bays, and so on. The National Highway No. 21 is an important link connecting national capital and tourist destination of Manali in Himachal Pradesh. NH 21 is also a major link to Leh in Ladakh.
IL&FS Engineering Services bagged AS-17 road project in September, 2005. The contract package No. EW –II (AS-17) involves widening and strengthening of existing National Highway from two lane to four lane from Km.36.00 to Km.5.50 from Daboka to Nagaon section of NH - 36 in Assam.
IL&FS Engineering Services bagged AS-19 road project in September, 2005. This contract package No. EW-II (AS-19) involves the widening and strengthening of existing National Highway from two lanes to four lanes from Km.230.50 to Km.205.00 of Dharmatul to Sonapur section of NH-37 in Assam on East-West Corridor under Phase II Programme of NHDP contract package.
NHAI has awarded the AS-25 project to IL&FS Engineering Services on March 2, 2011. The project value is 374.90 crores. The work for this package AS-25 consists of constructing 27.600 Kms of existing National Highway to four lane of flexible bituminous concrete pavement (including sub layers of GSB drainage layer, WMM layer, DBM layer, and a wearing surface of BC) with a raised median of 1.50 m width. New construction will incorporate improvement of vertical and horizontal alignment and lengthening of existing cross drainage works. The scope of work includes major bridges, minor bridges, flexible pavement, culverts, HP culverts, slab culverts, box culverts, and so on.
Nagaland Road Project was bagged by Maytas-Gayatri JV on February 3, 2011. The work involves two laning of Longleng- Changtongya Road, Mon-Tamlu-Merangkong Road, Phek -Pfutzero Road and Zunheboto-Chakabama Road in the state of Nagaland under phase A of Special Accelerated Road Development Programme for North East (SARDP-NE). The client is Public Works Department (PWD) (NH), and the value of Work under JV is Rs. 1089.55 crores out of which the Company’s share is 62%. The period of project is 36 months.
The 4 laning of the Pune Solapur section of NH 9 in km 144/400 to km 249/000 was entrusted to PSRDCL on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis. The Agreement for the project was signed on September 30, 2009, and the financing arrangement for financial closure was submitted by the Concessionaire on January 25, 2010. The Concessionaire - PSRDCL appointed IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited as the Developer for the development of four laning and IL&FS Transportation Networks Limited entered into an agreement with IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited for Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Pune Solapur road project. The project cost is Rs. 909.76 crores, the construction period is 24 months, and the Concession Period is 20 years including construction period.
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited has been awarded the Project for Construction of 4 laning the existing 2 lane section from Km.285 (Padalur) to KM.325(Trichy) on NH-45 in the State of Tamil Nadu by Indu Projects Limited. Work is in full swing in the entire stretch of the Project. The scope of the work includes construction of new 2 lane road carriageway with flexible pavement, widening and strengthening of the existing 2 carriageway, construction of around 69 cross drainage structures by widening/reconstruction considering the condition of the existing structure, construction of longitudinal drains at the end of service roads and between service road and main carriageway, improvement of road junctions, construction of toll plaza and road furniture. The value of the Project is about Rs. 190 crores.
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) was awarded Chattisgarh (Contract Package-1) for Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Rajnandangaon to Mohla Section (from Km.0.00 to Km. 72.40) from NCC Limited in August, 2006. The original cost of the project was Rs. 65.14 crores which was revised to Rs. 70.04 crores. The construction period was for 24 months. The project was successfully completed on 14th August 2009 and the ‘Taking Over Certificate’ was received on September 24, 2009.
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) was awarded Chattisgarh (Contract Package-2) for ‘Rehabilitation and Upgrading of Road from Mohla (Km.72+400) to Maharashtra Border (Km.110+590) from Public Works Department (PWD), Chhattisgarh in August, 2006. The cost of the project is Rs. 29.15 crores which was revised to Rs. 22.0 crores. The construction period was 24 months. The project was successfully completed on 1st October 2008 and the ‘Taking Over Certificate’ was received on March 12, 2009.
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited successfully completed the construction of six lane outer ring road for Bangalore Development Authority (BDA). The project was handed over to the client.
The Consortium of Maytas Infra Limited, Soma Enterprise Limited and NCC Limited has completed this much awaited project under public private partnership (PPP) mode. The elevated highway has been built with an investment of Rs. 765 crores. The Company's portion of the works is Rs. 271.44 crores. BETL, a special purpose vehicle (SPV) formed by the Consortium has built this project on a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis for the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). |

The total value of this project is Rs. 144.65 Crores, which is to be completed in 30 months. |

IL&FS Engineering Services has been awarded a contract by Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Mumbai for the construction of Roadbed, Major & Minor Bridges, Track Linking (excluding supply of rails, ordinary track sleepers and thick web switches), Outdoor Signalling and Electrical (General) works in connection with Doubling of Bhigwan – Mohol Section (127.14 Kms) part of Daund – Gulbarga Doubling in Solapur division of Central Railways in the state of Maharashtra, India. The Project is to be completed in 42 months from the date of commencement of work. The value of the contract is Rs. 158.01 crores. |

The value of the contract is Rs. 110.96 crores
IL&FS Engineering Services is executing Konkan Railway Bridges’ work that includes construction of civil works including Major Bridges (RCC Substructure only, RCC Box Culverts, RCC Arch Bridges), Earthwork in Embankment and Cutting, Feeder Roads, Protection and Allied Works between Km 30/000 to Km 50/400 of single BG Line on Katra-Loale section under USBRL Project. The value of the project is Rs. 227.90 crores.
IL&FS Engineering Services was involved with MRTS-Phase-II-Extension from Velachery to St. Thomas Mount. The work involved construction of pile foundation and substructure consisting of cast-in-situ 1200mm dia bored piles, pile caps, piers and pier caps etc., and other miscellaneous works between ch.19.800 and ch. 21.050- Reach-I. This work was completed by MIL (now IL&FS ECCL)-CTR JV (70:30). The value of the project is Rs. 22.732 crores. The project was successfully completed on October 12, 2010.
IL&FS Engineering Services was involved with MRTS-Phase-II-Extension from Velachery to St. Thomas Mount.
