   GAIL Pipeline Laying Contract Worth Rs. 129.66 Cr in Odisha

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received a Fax of Acceptance (FOA) from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for Laying and Construction of Steel Gas Pipeline along with Associated Facilities for Section V of Bokaro- Angul Section of Jagdishpur –Haldia -Bokaro- Dhamra Pipeline Project (JHBDPL) PH-II in Odisha state.

The total length of the 30” pipeline is 95.4 Km. The total value of the Contract is Rs 129.66 Cr plus 18% GST i.e Rs. 153 Cr, and is to be mechanically completed in 12 months from date of FOA and with additional 3 months for drying, commissioning and GAS-IN.

   GAIL Pipeline Laying Contract Worth Rs. 215.79 Cr in Jharkhand/West Bengal

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received Fax of Acceptance (FOA) from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for 157.8 km long 30” diameter pipeline laying works for Dobhi-Durgapur-Haldia Pipeline Section (Part B) along with 13.28 km long 12” diameter spurline under Jagdishpur Haldia/Bokaro-Dhamra Natural Gas pipeline (JHBDPL) project in Jharkhand/West Bengal states. The total value of the contract is Rs. 215.79 Crores (Excluding GST), and is to be mechanically completed in 15 months from date of FOA and additional 2 month for pre-commissioning & commissioning.

   GAIL Pipeline Laying Contract Worth Rs. 123.05 Cr in Kerala/Karnataka

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received Fax of Acceptance (FOA) from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for two pipeline laying contracts worth Rs. 123.05 Crores (plus Service Tax) in Kerala / Karnataka. Both the spreads are contiguous and are part of Kochi-Koottanad-Mangalore pipeline project. The details of the contracts are:

  1. Spread IV A (24” x 70.32 Km.): Laying and Construction of Pipeline along with Associated Works of Section IV A [(24”x70.32 Km.) Pipeline from SV 13M (At Approx. Chainage 242.175 Km.) to Approx. Chainage 312.495 Km. on 24” Ø Mangalore Spurline Including Piping and Associated Works at SV-14M, SV-15M, IP-3M, and SV-16M of Kochi to Mangalore Pipeline Project Phase-II in Kerala. The total value of this contract is Rs. 83.76 Crores (plus Service Tax), and is to be mechanically completed in 11 months from date of FOA and with additional 1 month for commissioning and GAS-IN.
  2. Spread IV B (24” x 34.83 Km.): Laying and Construction of Pipeline along with Associated Works of Section IV B [(24”x34.83 Km.) Pipeline from Chainage 312.495 Km. (Approx.) to Receiving Terminal at MCF Mangalore (At Approx. Chainage 347.328 Km.) on 24 Ø Mangalore Spurline Including Piping and Associated Works at SV-17M, SV-18M, and Receiving Terminal at MCF Mangalore of Kochi to Mangalore Pipeline Project Phase-II in Karnataka. The total value of this contract is Rs. 39.29 Crores (plus Service Tax), and is to be mechanically completed in 11 months from date of FOA and with additional 1 month for commissioning and GAS-IN.

   GAIL Pipeline Laying Contract Worth Rs. 162.58 Cr in Bihar

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received the Fax of Acceptance (FOA) from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) for Laying and Construction of Pipeline along with Associated Facilities of Section II Pipeline from Chainage 159.70 Km. to Receiving Terminal Cum Future IP Station-4 at Dobhi (Chainage 345.08 Km.) for Phulpur-Haldia Pipeline Project (Phase 1B) in Bihar State.

The total length of the 30” pipeline is 185.38 Km. The total value of the Contract is Rs. 162.58 Crores (plus Service Tax), and is to be mechanically completed in 15 months from date of FOA and with additional 3 months for drying, commissioning and GAS-IN.

   GAIL Pipeline Laying Contract Worth Rs. 173.13 Cr in Koottanad, Kerala

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received the Fax of Acceptance (FOA) from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), for Laying and Construction of Pipeline along with Associated Works of Section I Pipeline from Dispatch Terminal at Existing IP Station-1 at FACT Udyog Mandal of Phase-1 at Chainage 0.000 Km. to IP Station-1 of Phase-II at approx. Chainage 90.615 Km. at Koottanad including Station Works at Dispatch Terminal at existing IP Station-1, SV-1, SV-2, SV-3, SV-4, & SV-5, and IP Station-1 at Koottanad of Kochi-Koottanad-Bangalore-Mangalore Pipeline Project Phase-II in Kerala.

The total length of the 30” pipeline is 91 Km. The total value of the Contract is Rs. 173.13 Crores (plus Service Tax), and is to be mechanically completed in 24 months from date of FOA and with additional 2 months for commissioning and GAS-IN.

Ongoing Projects

   GAIL Pipeline Project in Gujarat

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received the Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL), for Laying and Construction of Pipeline along with Associated Works for Pipeline Replacement Project in Gujarat region. The total length of the 12” pipeline is 85 KM. The total value of the Contract is Rs. 52.4 Crores (plus Service Tax), and is to be completed within 16 months from the date of issue of LOA.

   EPC Pipeline Laying Project from Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has bagged an EPC contract from Indian Strategic Petroleum Reserves Limited (ISPRL), Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, for laying of Pipeline from Land Fall Point (LFP), Mangalore Port to Mangalore/Padur Cavern via Intermediate Valve Station (IVS) for storage of crude oil project. The total length of the Project is 50 KM. The total value of the Contract is Rs. 213 Crores, and is to be completed within 15 months from the date of issue of LOA.

Completed Projects

   Storage Tank Terminal at Fujairah, UAE

IL&FS Engineering Services has succesfully completed a contract from IL&FS Prime Terminals FZC for construction of Storage Tank Terminal at Fujairah, UAE. The total project cost is Rs. 444.78 crores (AED 304 million). The project is on Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis and consists of construction of 15 Nos. of Storage Tanks having a total storage capacity of 0.85 million tons. The project completion time was seventeen months from the commencement date.

   Gas Pipeline Project between Rajkot and Jamnagar for Gujarat State Petronet Ltd.

IL&FS Engineering Services has succesfully completed the Rajkot-Jamnagar section of the Bhadbhut-Jamnagar pipeline of Gujarat State Petronet Limited, Gandhinagar ,Gujarat . An EPC contract valued at Rs.303.08 Crores, the project envisages supply, laying, testing and commissioning of 110 km of 30” dia Natural Gas pipeline including one dispatch station, four receiving stations and four sectionalizing valve stations.

   Oil Pipeline Work at Port of Fujairah

IL&FS Engineering Services has succesfully completed a contract from IPTF, Fujairah, FZC for oil pipeline work at Port of Fujairah for an amount of Rs. 72.70 Crores (AED 49.25 Million). The project is on an Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) basis, and the scope of work consists of laying 6 pipelines of diameters ranging from 30” to 16” from the IPTF terminal at Fujairah to the Port of Fujairah for evacuation of white oil and black oil products. The project completion time was twelve months from the commencement date.

   Halol Godhra Dahod Pipeline Project

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has successfully commissioned Halol Godhra Dahod Pipeline Project in Gujarat. The project included laying 103 kms high pressure gas transmission pipeline on an EPC basis for Gujarat State Petronet Limited (GSPL). The pipeline network constitutes a main gas trunkline which takes gas from existing despatch station of Padmala – Halol pipeline at Halol to receiving station at Dahod in Gujarat. The client GSPL has developed this infrastructure to cater to the customers in East Gujarat region.

This pipeline project passes through wet & dry cultivated fields, rocky terrains, and forest zones which includes major crossing through rivers, canals, roads, railways, and so on. The commissioning of this project has proven that the Company has the capability to efficiently execute projects in unfavourable conditions to ensure it meets commitments made to the clients.
