Urban Electrification Works for JBVNL Worth Rs. Rs. 236.76 Cr in Jharkhand

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received the following Letter of Intents (LOIs) from Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) under the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS):

(i) LOI for Supply of all equipments and materials including providing for all erection services related to the Contract for Urban Electrification works of Dhanbad Electric Supply Circle of JBVNL covering two towns (Dhanbad & Chirkunda) in Dhanbad district in Jharkhand for a contract price of Rs 126.38 Crores;

(ii) LOI for Supply of all equipments and materials including providing for all erection services related to the Contract for Urban Electrification works of Dumka-Sahibganj Electric Supply Circle of JBVNL covering seven towns (Dumka, Sahibganj, Mihijam, Pakur, Rajmahal, Jamtara & Basukinath) in Dumka, Jamtara, Sahibganj & Pakur district in Jharkhand for a contract price of Rs 110.38 Crores

The total contract value of the above LOIs is Rs. 236.76 Crores, and the completion schedule of the works is 24 months.

   Rural & Urban Electrification Works for JBVNL Worth Rs. 559.35 Cr in Jharkhand

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received Letter of Intents (LOIs) from Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL), Ranchi for Rural Electrification (RE) Works of East Singhbhum Package comprising East Singhbhum district, and West Singhbum Package comprising West Singhbhum districts in Jharkhand state under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojna (DDUGJY). IL&FS Engineering Services has also received LOIs for Urban Electrification Works of Jamshedpur Electric Supply Area of JBVNL covering eight towns (Jamshedpur, Mango, Jugsalai, Chakuliya, Adityapur, Chaibasa, Chakradharpur, and Seraikela) in East Singhbhum, West Singhbum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts in Jharkhand state under Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) on behalf of JBVNL.

The total value of these contracts is Rs. 559.35 crores and the completion schedule of the works is 24 months.

   RE Works for JBVNL in Jharkhand

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received Letter of Intents (LOIs) for Rural Electrification (RE) Works of Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL), Ranchi worth Rs. 222.7 Crores in package of Sahibganj comprising Sahibganj and Pakur districts in Jharkhand state under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY).

The scope of work includes supply and erection of all equipment and materials related to the contract for RE infrastructure development for connecting unconnected house-holds, agricultural feeder segregation, system strengthening & metering works.

These Projects are covered under DDUGJY of Rural Electrification Corporation and are funded by it under the Govt. of India Central Plan. The completion schedule of the works is 24 months.

   RE Works and Integrated Power Development Works for WBSEDCL in West Bengal

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received Letter of Intent (LoI) for two Rural Electrification (RE) Works under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY), and additional one Integrated Power Development Works (IPDS) of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL), Kolkata worth Rs. 515.47 Crores. DDUGJY–RE contracts are being funded by Rural Electrification Corporation (REC), and IPDS contracts are being funded by Power Financial Corporation (PFC).

Following are the Projects:

A) For RE Works Under DDUGJY

1. Package No. 2 for 24 Paraganas North Bidhannagar & 24 Paraganas South. Contract value is Rs.179.64 Crores
2. Package No. 7 for Paschim Medinipur. Contract value is Rs.176.34 Crores

B) For Urban Areas Under IPDS

1. Package No.10 for 24 Parganas South. Contract value is Rs.159.49 Crores

Total value of the above three Contracts is Rs. 515.47 Crores and completion schedule of works is 24 months.

   RE Works for MVVNL in Gonda District of UP

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (MVVNL) for Rural Electrification (RE) works of majre/villages of Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh on a turnkey basis under Government of India Scheme of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY). The total value of this contract is Rs. 149.22 Crores, and the project completion period is 12 months from the date of issue of the LoI.

As part of this Scheme, 1436 villages of Gonda district will be electrified that will result in provision of 39600 Nos. of Services Connections to Below Poverty Line (BPL) card holders. This project is funded by REC under the Eleventh Plan Programme.

   765kV D/C Bhuj-Banaskanta Turnkey Transmission Line Project in Gujarat

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) and Unitech Power Transmission Limited JV has received Letter of Award (LoA) for Rs. 153.99 Crores Turnkey Works of 765 kV Transmission Line in Gujarat from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL).

The scope of work includes Supply Contract for Tower Package-TW02 for 765kV D/C Bhuj-Banaskanta Transmission Line (Part-II) associated with Green Energy Corridors: Inter-State Transmission Scheme (ISTS) – Part C along with contract for construction works of this Line in the state of Gujarat. The total value of this contract is Rs. 153.99 Crores, and the project completion period is 24 months from the date of issue of the LOA.

This contract has been won under International Competitive Bidding (ICB) process, and the project is funded by The KFW Bank.

   RE Works for MVVNL in Shahjahanpur District of UP

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (MVVNL) for Rural Electrification (RE) works in Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh on a turnkey basis under Government of India Scheme of Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gram Jyoti Yojana (DDUGJY) Phase-II. The total value of this contract is Rs. 190.88 Crores, and the project completion period is 24 months. As part of this Scheme, 1961 villages of Shahjahanpur district will be electrified that will result in provision of 39880 Nos. of Services Connections to Below Poverty Line (BPL) card holders. This project is funded by REC under the Eleventh Programme.

   RE Works for PVVNL in Moradabad and Amroha (JP Nagar) Districts of UP

IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has bagged two individual contracts from PVVNL (Paschimanchal Vidhyut Vitran Nigam Limited), a discom of Uttar Pradesh state for Rural Electrification (RE) works with value of Rs. 145.55 Crores, and Rs. 94.05 Crores respectively totaling Rs. 239.6 Crores in Uttar Pradesh.

The first contract involves RE work of villages of Moradabad district, and the second contract involves RE work of villages of Amroha (JP Nagar) district in Uttar Pradesh under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) 12th Plan on turnkey basis. The completion period for both these contracts is 24 months.

   RE Works for WBSEDCL in 24- Paraganas (North) District of West Bengal
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has won a contract from WBSEDCL (West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited) for construction of Rural Electrification Infrastructure, Erection Works, and Household Electrification in 24 Parganas (N) district of West Bengal under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) – XII Plan. The total value of these contract works is Rs. 196 Crores and the completion period is 24 months.

   Rural Electrification (RE) Works Worth Rs. 149.68 Crores from PVVNL
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received a Letter of Award (LoA) from Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) for Rural Electrification (RE) works in Bulandshahr district of Uttar Pradesh on a turnkey basis under Government of India scheme of Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) Phase-II. The total value of this contract is Rs. 149.68 Crores, and the project completion period is 18 months.

    Rural Electrification (RE) works worth Rs. 284.04 Crores from Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (MVVNL)
IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company Limited (IL&FS Engineering Services) has received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (MVVNL) for the Rural Electrification (RE) works in Ambedkarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh on a turnkey basis under Government of India scheme of Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) Phase-II. The total value of this contract is Rs. 284.04 Crores, and the project completion period is 24 months.

   Power Project Worth Rs. 27.84 Cr. From HVPNL
IL&FS Engineering Services is executing a contract for Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (HVPNL), Panchkula for Design, Supply, Civil and Erection of 2 New 132 KV Substations, and 5 Nos. of 132 KV Extension Bays on a Turnkey Basis in Sonipat district of Haryana. The value of the project is Rs. 27.84 Crores, and is being funded by the World Bank.
The project completion time is 12 months from the date of receipt of advance.

   RE Works for WBSEDCL in 24- Paraganas (South) District of West Bengal
Rural Electrification Works - Package-12
The project involves supply and delivery of materials/equipments for rural electricity infrastructure and household electrification of villages covering Thakurpukur, Mahestola, Budge, Budge-I, Budge-II, Kultali, Basanti, Sonarpur, Bhangar-I, Bhangar-II, Bishnupur-I, and Bhishnupur-II blocks in 24- Paraganas (South) district of West Bengal under Backward Region Grant Fund Scheme (BRGF). The value of the project is Rs. 120 crores

Rural Electrification Works - Package-13
The project involves supply and delivery of materials/equipments for rural electricity infrastructure and household electrification of villages covering Canning-I, Canning-Ii, Baruipur, Joynagar-I, Joynagar-Ii, Mathurapur-I, Mathurapur-II, Magrahat-I & II, and Mandir Bazar blocks in 24- Paraganas (South) district of West Bengal under Backward Region Grant Fund Scheme (BRGF). The value of the project is Rs. 144 crores

Rural Electrification Works - Package-14
The project involves supply and delivery of materials/equipments for rural electricity infrastructure and household electrification of villages covering Kulpi, Kakdwip, Namkhana, Pathar Pratam, Falta, Diamond Harbour-I & II blocks in 24-Paraganas (South) district of West Bengal under Backward Region Grant Fund Scheme (BRGF). The value of the project is Rs. 144 crores

   400 kV Quad Moose Transmission line From ITPCL, Tamilnadu
IL&FS Engineering Services is executing a contract for Supply & Erection Of 400 kV Dc Transmission Line from ITPCL (IL&FS Tamilnadu Power Company Limited), Cuddalore. This line connects the Cuddalore Thermal Power Project to Power Grid Pooling Station at Nagapatnam in Tamilnadu. The value of the project is Rs. 129 crores, and it is to be completed in 18 months.

   132/33 kV substation From HVPNL, Haryana
IL&FS Engineering Services is executing a project for Supply, Erection & Commissioning Of 132 kV Bays on Turnkey Basis from HVPNL (Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited). The project involves procurement of plant, design, supply & installation of 132 kV substations in Badli, Machraulli, Garnawapi, Bhattu Sotter villages, and 2 nos 132 kV base at 132 kV substations in Beri & Aherwan villages on a turnkey basis. The value of the project is Rs. 35.48 crores which has to be completed in 12 months.

   Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation. Ltd. (APTRANSCO), Hyderabad
IL&FS Engineering Services is executing a project from AP Transco for Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 220KV Lines & 220/11KV substations – Lift Irrigation Scheme in Kadapa District (Package A & B) of Andhra Pradesh state. The project value is Rs. 32.01 Crores.

   Power Grid Corporation India Limited (PGCIL), West Midnapore, West Bengal
The project involves supply and erection of materials/equipments for rural electricity infrastructure and household electrification of villages covering Binpur, Jhargram, Jamboni,  Gerbeta, Dantan, Mohanpur, Keshiary, Nayagrom, Sankrail, Narayangarh in West Midnapur district of West Bengal under Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY).The value of the project is Rs. 143 Crores.

   Power Grid Corporation India Limited (PGCIL), Sundargarh, Orissa
The project involves supply and erection of materials/equipments for rural electricity infrastructure and household electrification of villages covering Hemgiri Lephripada Tangarpalli Bonaigarh Lahunipara and Koida in Sundargarh district of  Orissa under Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) .The value of the project is Rs. 69.1 Crores

   Power Grid Corporation India Limited (PGCIL), Khurda, Orissa
The project involves supply and erection of materials/equipments for rural electricity infrastructure and household electrification of villages covering Khurda, Begunia, Bhubaneswar Jatni, Tangi, Balianta, Balipatana in Khurda district of  Orissa under Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) .The value of the project is Rs. 45.7 Crores

   Power Grid Corporation India Limited (PGCIL), Jajpur
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract from Power Grid Corporation India Ltd. (PGCIL) for construction of HT, LT Lines, installation of distribution transformers and providing service connections under RGGVY Scheme in 10 Blocks of Jajpur districts of Orissa. The project value is Rs. 120.14 crores.

   Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation. Ltd.(KPTCL), Bangalore
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a project from KPTCL for construction of 7 nos. 110KV new Sub-station along with the Transmission Lines on a turnkey basis in Belgaum, Bagalkot, Bijapur & Hubli districts of Karnataka. The project value is Rs. 67.00 Crores.

   Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation. Ltd. (APTRANSCO), Hyderabad
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract from Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation. Ltd., Hyderabad for Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 220KV LILO line to 400KV Gajwel SS from Loc. No.81 of Malkaram – Minpur DC Line. The project value is Rs.10.46 Crores, and completion date is March 19, 2011.

   Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation. Ltd. (APTRANSCO), Hyderabad
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract from Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation. Ltd., Hyderabad for Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 220KV LILO line to 400KV Gajwel SS from Loc. No.104 of Medchal - Minpur DC Line. The project value is Rs.10.37 crores and completion date is July 2, 2012.

   Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation. Ltd. (APTRANSCO), Hyderabad
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a project from AP Transco for Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 220 KV DC/SC Line from 400KV Chittoor SS to Palamaneru (60km) on a turnkey basis. The project value is Rs. 10.15 Crores and is located in Palamaneru in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The date of completion is October 22, 2011.

IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract from AP Transco for Supply, Erection, and Testing & Commissioning of 220KV features at Parchur 132/33KV Sub-station. The project value is Rs. 8.99 crores and is located in Parchur, Andhra Pradesh. May 17, 2010

IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract from AP Transco for Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 132 &220KV features at GKLIS Scheme. The project value is Rs.29.27 Crores and is located in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. July 3, 2012

   Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company (GESCOM)
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract from Deepak Cables for a 33KV Re-conductoring work in Gulbarga, Yadgir and Bidar districts of Karnataka on a turnkey basis. The value of the project is Rs. 52.00 crores.

   JVVNL, Jaipur
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract by Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Limited (JVVNL) for construction of HT, LT Lines, installation of distribution transformers, and providing service connections in 13 blocks of Jaipur & Tonk districts of Rajasthan. The project value is Rs. 54.93 crores.

   Nagarjuna Cements Limited
IL&FS Engineering Services has successfully executed a contract from Nagarjuna Cements Limited (NCL) for design, Supply, Erection, Testing & Commissioning of 132/6.9kv switchyard, construction of civil works for NCL Cement Plant and staff quarters for cement plant. The project is Rs. 23 crores.

   Upper Indravati Hydro Electric Project, Orissa
(Kapur Earthen Dam, Podagada Earthen Dam, Diversion Cum Depletion Tunnel, Head Race Tunnel & Masonary Dam)

Construction of earthen dam of 537 mts. and 65 mts. at Kapur in the year 1994.
Construction of earthen dam and diversion tunnel of 462 mts. and 72 mts. at Podagada in the year 1996.
Construction of horseshoe shaped diversion tunnel cum depletion outlet 3.5 mts. diameter and 356 mts. at Right Dyke in the year 1997.
Completion of balance work of head race tunnel ( 4 Km. long and 7 mts. diameter) and construction of masonry dam of 65 mts. height, 500 mts. at Muran in the year 1999.

   Larji Hydro Electric Project, Himachal Pradesh
(Head Race Tunnel & Barrage)

This project includes construction of head race tunnel of 8.50 M Diametre at Kullu in the year 2004
construction of diversion barrage intake & de-sanding arrangements, coffer dams, de-sanding basins, gate operation galleries, intake structures, gate operation galleries and single gate gallery and 14 Nos. of audit, feeder, d-shaped flushy & connecting tunnels at Kullu 2004.

   Parbati Hydro Electric Project, Haryana

Construction of civil and hydro-mechanical works for head race tunnel and associated works at Faridabad, the tunnel is in progress and is being executed for National Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited, Haryana.

   B G Tunnel, Assam

Single line B G including earthwork in filling and cutting and construction of two nos. minor bridges, side drains and other protection works at approaches of tunnel, total length of tunnel is 2596 RM at Maligaon, Assam. This project for Northeast Frontier Railway in under progress.

   Hinduja Power Plant, Andhra Pradesh

A Thermal Power Plant including site grading work of 2 X 250 MW plant was executed in the year 2000 for Hitachi Limited, Visakhapatnam.
