Tadipudi Lift Irrigation Scheme, Nallajarla, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh
The work is in progress for execution of works of Main Canal from Km. 0.00 to Km. 80.450 and its distributory system, filed channels including construction of complete CM&CD works to irrigate an ayacut of 1,38,000 acres for lift irrigation scheme in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The value of the project is Rs. 201.45 Crores.
Indira Sagar Project Left Main Canal – Package – III (Polavaram), East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh Construction of a canal is in progress and it involves mainly excavation, formation of banks including canal lining and construction of CM&CD works at Polavaram in East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. The Main canal starts at KM 51.600 of ISPLMC in the village limits of Ramavaram village and ending at KM 69.145 in the village limits of Dharmavaram with a discharge of the canal is 372.16 Cumecs. The value of the project which is in joint venture with NCC is Rs. 243.55 Crores, and IL&FS Engineering Services share is 50%. Chitravathi Balancing Reservoir Right Canal (Lingala Canal), Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh Construction of CM&CD works, link canal, cross regulation and head regulation lift irrigation system, supply and fabrication of hydro mechanical components and erection of vertical gates, stop log gates and its accessories, this project at Lingala, Kadapa district of Andhra Pradesh is under execution. The Main C.B.R Right Canal complete system from KM.0.00 to KM 53.00, link canal taking off at KM 14.03 of main canal to connect Pulivendula Branch canal with a length of 1.375 KMs. The maximum discharge between Km 0.00 to Km 14.30 is 34.00 Cumecs and beyond KM 14.30 discharge is 10.20 Cumecs and the discharge in link canal is 23.80 Cumecs. The value of the project which is in joint venture with NCC is Rs. 348.78 Crores and ILFS share is 50%. Anuppur Project, Anuppur District, Madhya Pradesh IL&FS Engineering Services bagged a project from Moserbaer Constructions Private Limited worth Rs. 61.51 Crores. The project is located near Anuppur district in Madhya Pradesh. The scope of the project is mainly to construct a barrage including formation of embankment on river Son. Pogonda Reservoir, West Godavari District, Andhra Pardesh. IL&FS Engineering Services has won the Pogonda Reservoir project, near Chintalagudem village of Buttayagudem Mandal, and the value of the project is Rs. 69.84 Crores. The project involves construction of Earthen Dam & Surplus Weir, and a lead channel to connect to the nearby stream. Pranahitha-Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme, Telangana The Pranahitha-Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme is envisaged to irrigate an ayacut of 12,20,000 acres in drought prone areas of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Medak, Warangal, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, and Ranga Reddy districts of Telangana state. It also aims to provide drinking water facilities to the villages in the vicinity and also to Hyderabad Metropolitan Board, duly diverting about 160 TMC of surplus waters from Pranahitha River by constructing a barrage across the river Pranahitha near Tummidihetti village in Adilabad district. All the Packages under this scheme are EPC Turnkey System. PCLIS Package-2, , Adilabad District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services has secured the Pranahitha-Chevella Package-2 project near Tummidi Hetti village in Koutala mandal from Government of A.P. for detailed investigation, preparation of designs, drawings, estimates, land plan schedules and excavation of gravity canal including FE, construction of sluices, cross masonry and cross drainage works lining etc., complete maintenance for the reach from Km. 15.00 to Km 28.50 (Kajralli to Suragapally) which is taking off from the right flank of the proposed barrage A/c River Pranahitha near Tummidi Hetti village, Koutala Mandal inAdilabad district (Package No. II). The value of the project which is in joint venture with NCC is Rs. 215.47 crores and IL&FS Engineering Services' share is 50% which amounts to Rs. 108.03 Crores. PCLIS, Package-4, Adilabad District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services has bagged the Pranahitha - Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme, Package-4 situated near Tummidi Hetti viilage in Kouthala mandal, and the value of the project is Rs. 1675.28 Crores. Bid submitted for this project is in joint venture with Sushee Hitech Construction Pvt. Ltd, Prasad Constructions, and NCC. IL&FS Engineering Services’ share of participation is 5% which amounts to Rs. 83.76 Crores. PCLIS, Package-5, Adilabad District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services has bagged the Pranahitha-Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme, Package-5 situated near Tummidi Hetti village in Kouthala Mandal, and the value of the project is Rs. 3626.11 Crores. Bid submitted for this project is in joint venture with Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), and Andritz. IL&FS Engineering Services’ share of participation is 15% which amounts to Rs. 543.92 Crores. PCLIS, Package-7, Karimnagar District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services has secured the Pranahitha-Chevella Lift Irrigation Scheme, Package-7 project, situated near Nandi Medaram village in Dharmaram Mandal, and the value of the project is Rs. 2118.59 Crores. Bid submitted for this project is in joint venture with Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., Asea Brown Boveri (ABB) and Andritz. IL&FS Engineering Services is the Lead Partner and its share of participation is 66.5967% which amounts to Rs. 1410.91 Crores. The project involves executing all the civil works comprising Approach (Gravity) Canal of about 2.00 Km length, improvement to Medaram Reservoir, improvements to Kakathiya Canal and Tunnel for a length of 11.80 Km, Pump House and Surge Pool. PCLIS Package-8, , Karimnagar District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services formed a Consortium with public sector giant Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, Mega Engineering Infrastructure Ltd (MEIL), and SEW Infrastructure Ltd to bag the second largest order in the history of A.P Irrigation domain which is worth Rs. 3271.09 crores. PCLIS Package-14, Medak District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services formed a Consortium with public sector giant AMR, KBL, and WEG to bag order which is worth Rs. 659.45 Crores. PCLIS Package-17, Gundureddipalli Village, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services formed a Joint Venture with ITD Cementation to bag a order which is worth Rs. 666.324 Crores. Udayasamudram Lift Irrigation Scheme, Nalgonda District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services has secured the Udayasamudram Lift Irrigation Scheme. The formal agreement for construction of this Scheme was concluded with Irrigation & CAD Department, A.P on August 8, 2008. Bid submitted for this project is in joint venture with Megha Engineering & Infrastructures Ltd., Hyderabad, and Kirloskar Brothers Ltd., Pune. IL&FS Engineering Services is the Lead Partner in this project. The value of the project is Rs 561.96 Crores in which IL&FS Engineering Services’ share is Rs. 330.618 Crores. This Project is intended to provide irrigation facilities to 1,00,000 acres of ayacut. The ayacut under this project covers Nalgonda, Narketpally, Chityal, Munugode, Ramannapet, Shaligouraram, Kattangur and Nakrekal Mandals of Nalgonda district, in Telangana. Apart from this, the project also provides safe drinking water to the enroute villagers facing persistent fluoride problem due to contaminated ground water. The object of this project work is to construct civil works, steel pressure mains, pump house and electro-mechanical works, tunnel and other ancillary works to lift 6.70 TMC of water, lifting with two vertical shaft stage Francis Turbine pumps not less than 16 MW capacity each with a discharging capacity of not less than 460 cusec each from the foreshore of Udayasamudram balancing reservoir to proposed balancing reservoir near Brahamanavellemula village. Approach channel is designed for a minimum discharge of 970 cusecs. The main components of the system are excavation of tunnel for a length of 10 KM, construction of surge pool, balancing reservoirs and approach channel from foreshore of Udayasamudram to the proposed tunnel. This project is situated about 90 Km around Madanapalle in Chittoor district, Andhra Pradesh. IL&FS Engineering Services’ share of participation is 20%. Muchumarru Pump Houses, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh IL&FS Engineering Services has been awarded the Muchumarru Pump Houses project for investigation, design, construction of 3 nos of Pump Houses near Mucchumarru village of Nandikotkur mandal of Kurnool district, Andhra Pardesh, and about km. 60.00 and km. 40.00 of K.C. Canal including design, manufacture, supply, delivery of pumps and motors including all civil, mechanical, electrical and allied works. Kumaradhara & Pasupudhara Dams Project, Tirumala, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh IL&FS Engineering Services successfully executed the contract from Thirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, Tirupathi for construction of Kumaradhara & Pasupudhara Dams at Tirumala Hills. The value of the Project is Rs. 84.79 Crores and was completed on April 2012. The Project is located in reserved forest which is 12 Kms from Temple of Lord Venkateswara. These dams were constructed to provide adequate drinking water for the pilgrims in and around Thirumala. The maximum flood discharge is 340 Cumecs or 12000 Cusecs. The project consists of construction of two dams, one across Kumaradhara stream and another across Pasupudhara stream with spillway arrangement in Pasupudhara Dam. The flood water of Kumaradhara will be diverted to Pasupudhara reservoir through a link channel cut across the ridge separating the two reservoirs. The scope of the work mainly consist of construction of concrete gravity dams across both the streams including ancillary works like instrumentation, laying electrical HT Line from Akashaganga dam to present dam site, link channel, independent intake wells with motors & pumps for water lifting, construction of two temporary sheds and one staff quarters building etc. |

Bhupathipalem Reservoir Project, Rampachodavaram, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh IL&FS Engineering Services was awarded the Bhupathipalem project by Superintending Engineer, ISLMC Circle, Tuni. The value of the project is Rs. 78.81 Crores Bhupathipalem Reservoir Scheme is Medium Irrigation Project and it envisages formation of a reservoir across Seethapalli vagu, a tributary of river Godavari near Bhupathipalem village in Rampachodavaram mandal of East Godavari district to store about 645 M.cft of water to provide irrigation facilities to 14,028 acres and to provide drinking water to a population of 56,599 living in 33 Villages. The scheme envisages formation of an Earth Dam of 674 meters length with a maximum height of 34.77m from deepest bed level and a spillway of 74.00m length consisting 6nos of radial gates of size 10m x 7.50m to discharge a maximum flood discharge of 81,718 cusecs across Sitapalli Vagu including Construction of Head Sluice in deep reserve forest. |

Galeru Nagari Sujala Sravanthi Project (GNSS Project) Package – 1, Kadapa District, Andhra Pradesh G.N.S.S Project is a major Irrigation Project intended to provide irrigation facility to 3.25 lakhs acres in the three districts of Kadapa, Chittoor, and Nellore. The project also provides drinking water to a population of 5 lakhs living in 640 villages and towns en route the canal.
The GNSS Package – I consists of the Gandikota Dam & Main Canal with structures from 0 to 24.33 Km, Head Regulator, off take regulator and an approach channel of 3.275 Km length. The total value of work is Rs. 366.70 Crores. The Project envisages the drawals of 38 TMC of surplus flood waters in 45 flood days from the foreshore of Srisailam Reservoir through Srisailam Right Main Canal from Pothireddypadu, Srisailam Right Branch Canal, proposed Gorakallu Balancing Reservoir, Owk Reservoir and proposed Gandikota Reservoir, and other 8 storage reservoirs to provide the aforesaid irrigation and drinking water facilities. Gandikota Reservoir is located across Pennar river near Mangapatnam Railway Station near Muddanur (V&M) in Kadapa district. It is about 80 Kms from Kadapa, and is located on the Kadapa – Gooty Express Highway. The project site is accessible from Muddanur town by road. Network roads are connected to district head-quarters, Kadapa. The main canal from foreshore of Gandikota Dam passes through Mangapatnam, Muddanur, and Uppaluru. |

Bheema Lift Irrigation Project, Mahabubnagar District, Telangana IL&FS Engineering Services won the project in Joint Venture with NEC and NCC from Government of A.P on EPC basis for a value of 399.30 Crores with a share of 25 % and successfully completed it in March 2012. The project is located in Thirumalayapally village of Kothakota mandal in , Mahabubnagar district, Telangana. The project work involves execution of canal approach to tunnel, surge pool, delivery mains, cistern, and construction of two pumping stations, one of the pumping station consisting of 3 Nos with 12 MW vertical shaft single stage Francis turbine pumps and motors with a discharge of 750 Cusecs for each pump and another pumping station consisting of 3 Nos with 4 MW vertical shaft single stage Francis turbine pumps and motors with a discharge of 380 Cusecs for each pump including electro- mechanical and hydro – mechanical equipments. |

SRSP Flood Flow Canal, Karimnagar District, Telangana The project is located in Balwanthapur village, Mallial mandal of Karimnagar district in Telangana state. The main objective of the project is to irrigate 89,034 Ha (2,20,000 acres) of command area in the draught prone areas of Telangana region duly diverting about 20 TMC of surplus waters from Sriramsagar project.
